1 Box of Original Beef BUBBA burgers
4-8 Pieces of bacon, cooked
4 Slices of cheddar cheese
1 Red onion, cut into rings
1 Head of lettuce
4 Burger buns
2/3 Cup barbecue sauce
Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place the bacon strips in a single layer and bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the desired level of crispiness and thickness of the bacon slices.
Pan: Start with cold bacon slices straight from the refrigerator. Place the skillet on the stove over medium heat. Let it heat up for a minute or two until it’s hot but not smoking. Carefully place the bacon slices in the hot skillet, ensuring they are not overlapping. Let the bacon cook undisturbed for a few minutes until the edges start to curl and brown. Use tongs to flip the bacon slices occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Preheat your grill to high heat. Carefully place the burgers on grill grates ensuring they are evenly spaced and not touching each other.
Cook for about 4 minutes on one side. Add the sliced red onion to the grill with the burgers.
After flipping the burgers, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty. Allow the cheese to melt as you continue cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes.
Once the cheese has achieved its perfect gooey consistency, remove the BUBBA burgers from the grill and get ready to enjoy.
Give your buns extra love this Memorial Day Cookout by toasting them on the grill. As they turn golden brown and crisp, layer each bottom bun with crisp lettuce, your juicy BUBBA burger patty, caramelized red onion, and 1-2 savory pieces of bacon.
With a final touch of BBQ sauce, your Memorial Day BUBBA burger recipe is ready to be served and savored.
This mouthwatering creation is sure to be a crowd-pleaser that embodies the spirit of good food and great times shared with loved ones. Enjoy!
